I was watching Woody Allen’s “Annie Hall” the other day, when suddenly I understood what was so peculiar about most Hollywood (and non-Hollywood) movies – food. You can barely name a motion picture where the heroes aren’t eating or drinking at least once during the whole movie. But in some cases plates with pasta or a glass of milkshake becomes so significant part of the film, so you can hardly imagine the last without those food scenes.
I tried to remember some other iconic movies containing both haute cuisine and simple homemade dishes. The result of this search is presented in these series of graphic doodle illustrations of movie-food.
