Andrei Lacatusu, a self-taught digital artist from Rome, created this series of digital art called “Social Decay.”
In this series he shows 3D signs of popular social media brands that we use every day, such as Facebook, Google, Twitter, Pinterest, and Tinder, in the form of rusted, neglected neon signs symbolizing the fall of these Internet giants.

It is interesting to think how everything that is modern now will seem quaint in the future. I am entertained by how my students see hairstyles from the 1980s as ridiculously outdated, while that decade still seems pretty recent to me. Facebook is already starting to be seen as belonging to an older generation.
Even Twitter! I teach Jr high and none of my students use Twitter. There are too many political topics discussed on there, they just don't get it or care about it for the most part. They're all on Instagram and snap chat and probably some other crap i don't know about
Total genius. Thank you for sharing your art with us.
Remember how life was so much better before all of this mind numbing garbage?
Yes, because I'm really old!
You mean Bored Panda? ;)
