“More Sky” Window Turns Into Balcony To Give Small Apartments Outdoor Experience
107Kviews
Argentinian architect Aldana Ferrer Garcia has created an extending window concept that allows apartment-dwellers to enjoy the sky from their oft-cramped quarters. The “More Sky” windows all swing or otherwise extend out from the wall to create cozy seated alcoves.
Garcia writes that the project “provides visual relief, access to sunlight and fresh air for small apartments” and is a response to “current needs in densely populated cities.”

I just want to know HOW MUCH THEY COST and if there is an installer who will travel to my address in Portland, Oregon
Sameeeee
ME TOO. BUT IN TAIWAN
This is such a great idea. I have always wanted a way to look at the night sky from my bedroom and this would be an answer. Brilliant!
Yeah! I could sleep there, and then i wouldn't have to turn on a night light. (sorry, i'm scared of the dark, k?)
So am I!
It is too scary for my taste :/ Brilliant idea nonetheless!
I'd be scared just in case the glass would crack!
I'm literally live at 30th floor in Hong Kong !! So.... Do I have a safety concern ??
That looks un safe
It's like a cross between a balcony and a skylight. Brilliant!
This is pretty cool.
THESE ARE ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! I think this architect has hit on a highly desired accessory for anyone regardless of the type of abode they are living in. I hope he patents the idea and design - I'd have a few in a heartbeat!
My cats also placed this on their letters to Santa!! What a brilliant design!
Proudly made in Argentina :D

My thoughts exactly. If everybody did it in a block you wouldn't see much sky!
I love it but wouldn't sit in it . It would be nice to put a beautiful plant & have natural light come in.
As the glass breaks
Joseph doesn't trust it
How do these work with regard means of escape?
How do these work with regard providing a means of escape?
SCARY AF
fabulous idea...laying and leaning on glass looks a bit precarious, though ;-)
Brilliant ideas!
Brilliant.
The liability for a landowner who even allows such a thing would be crazy.
I would never trust this o.o
How clever! I'm with Beverly! How do I get one?
Architects should take this kind of windows into consideration.
Good idea l want have more sky!!
Love it! But in reality, how do they provide fresh air? That would make it perfect!
Cool idea, but this certainly could end badly. Just wait till some drunken couple tries to have sex on it. And you thought "Titanic" was tragic...
