We all know the famous saying how the practice makes perfect, or in other words - there‘s a chance you‘ll get so much better at something if you keep doing it every day in order to improve.

An illustrator Lorna Kelleher wanted to check if this saying is actually true. Recently, she decided to measure her progress by recreating some of her older artworks. For this she chose illustrations of Disney princesses that she drew two years ago and remade them in a way she draws today. When you put them side to side, there‘s clearly a difference – which ones do you like better?

I'm out of the loop, and don't watch Disney, so I don't know how the characters are supposed to look. I prefer the earlier pic, but both look good. They just look like two different people, rather than two drawings of the same person.

Why is everyone picking a favorite? Why can't u like both of them? And pointing out every detail that you think are bad is stupid cause the fact is you wouldn't be able to draw something like this.

It's not necessarily that people are picking favorites, it's just something that they like or don't like. At least that's how it is for me. And truer words have never been spoken about my ability to draw anything, let alone anything as amazing as what she's drawn!! Also, I haven't read each comment super closely, but the ones for Pocahontas, I think they were critiquing rather than pointing out what they think is bad.

No it isn't. That doesn't even remotely look like Mulan. That looks more like Jasmine.

In the 2018 version the eye looks like it is too far from her nose...
