This Artist’s Drawings Of Cartoon Princesses And Their Pets Look Like They’re Glowing (7 Pics)
There’s a lot of art based on popular animation, like Disney, Pixar, and Dreamworks. This amazing artist from Russia stands out from all others because of her unique, glowing art. The young artist, known as Lander creates illustrations of princesses and their pets in her own style. Lander is in her early twenties, but she already makes astonishing artwork. She uses pencils to create her art, which makes it even more special.
The series is called “Princesses in real life” and it mostly features characters from Disney and their loyal pets. Lander makes the ladies way more realistic and detailed. She also does a lot of other characters, from Game of Thrones to Marvel, so if you want to see that, go to her social media!

Unpopular opinion, but I love seeing artists’ spin on Disney princesses. We grew up with them, and now they have the skills to bring their versions to life. Doesn’t mean they’re any less creative, it just means there are more artwork by talents put into the world.

I think this is great, but kinda wish the effect went past earrings. For instance, Megara's head-piece instead of earring or Jasmine's crown topper (that little gem thing). Great job overall, though!

But how is that glow effect achieved? As an artist I know that shading can do wonders, but the whole drawing must have been dulled with a neutral colour in order to have the white of the glow stand out so much. Or the glow is paint while the rest is pencil. Can't quite figure it out...

Take another look and notice that all the glowing items are reflecting onto their surroundings. It's an illusion, but a really good one.
