Ever since I was a young child I had always wanted to travel. I didn’t know why, how, or when, but I just had this feeling that I wanted to travel at some point in my life.
Whilst battling severe depression in my early 20’s, I bought a round the world ticket with the first flight being a year away. That was it, I had something to aim for, I had a year to save anything I could and then I would be off on my solo adventures.
After doing a few handstands here and there, I decided to actually take pictures of them anywhere I could. The first year, they were mostly taken by myself using the self timer mode on the camera and perching the camera on whatever I could find.
Over 6 years later and I still travel. Only now, I get to travel with my beautiful wife, enjoying every moment with her. We left everything we knew and just went. No destinations planned, no ideas, just 1 ticket each and the passion to travel. My wife is amazing and we love our lifestyle together.
I still handstand wherever we go and now have my wife to take the photos for me. I even managed to do a few on our wedding day. Here are just some of the pictures of my many handstands.
