It is sad. People who can't afford to take care of their kids shouldn't have them.

1st world country has stupid leadership. Everyone votes against the current President, Obama and now Trump.

I also have a gap between my frontal upper teeth. Not as big as Paul Simonon, but I did get a fork almost stuck once. Don't ask how it happened.

Not necessarily an operation. It looks like she had veneers placed. They're kind of like crowns/caps but don't cap the whole tooth. A dental crown is used after a root canal or to hold together a broken tooth. Veneers are just for cosmetic purposes--to close up gaps, change shape of teeth, etc.

I think they are able to do series of braces, e.g. Put braces on to make room for teeth, then pull forward the closest teeth, repeat. I have no idea if that even makes sense.

First they have to make space for the teeth to fit in (the cheapest and easiest way is to pull some of the back teeth out), then they’ll go step by step with the braces (when the first row teeth is on its place they’ll finally be able to put braces on the teeth that were behind them to take them to their place)

Could've been primary teeth that were pulled. That happened to me. They wouldn't come out and my permanent teeth were growing in behind them, so they had to get pulled. Also, the wisdom teeth count for 4 of those!

You say it like it's such a horrible thing. You'd be surprised how many people you see on a daily basis in real life and on tv, have very few of their own teeth.
