Artist Creates Hilariously Ridiculous Comics With Absurdly Unexpected Twists (30 Pics)
Interview With ArtistSome comic artists tend to find joy in making people laugh with their work, and animator Josh Sachs, otherwise known as “Baldstache”, is set on doing exactly that. His comics go from simple and borderline innocent everyday situations to literally ridiculous, absurd, and unexpected twists that have a “sprinkle” of surrealism to them.
You might think that Josh’s comics are just generic jokes, but the artist pushes the absurdity of the situations to the extreme when it comes to his work. Don’t believe us? Take a look for yourself by scrolling down below (no spoilers allowed).

Bored Panda reached out to Josh to find out a little bit more about how he got into making comics in the first place.
“I grew up reading the comics section of The Washington Post every morning before school. When I was in second grade I began creating my own characters and inserting them into little storylines that I most likely ripped off from Garfield. I also had a phase of drawing the entire Simpsons family naked but my therapist tells me that is totally normal.”
Yep- their cycle is 26 hours :) hence the daily egg

Load More Replies...I feel bored panda need to get a grip and stop censoring everything that couldn't even offend the most sensitive of people. I know this is going to get down voted but I really think they need to pull themselves together.
my last therapist was a b***h, and told me that my parents mentally abusing me to the point of CPS coming was clearly my fault, because i'm a dissapointment.
Load More Replies...Then we asked the artist about where his inspiration usually comes from when it comes to his creative work.
“Mostly existential angst. I really hadn't been making comics in my teens/young adulthood. It was only as I began to approach 30 that I took on a more active, disciplined approach. I knew I had to make something - I was raising two kids and working multiple jobs in Manhattan, and just did not feel creatively fulfilled...and yeah, I know that's a first-world problem, but I also don't want to make light of the importance of mental health."
I like drinking from a straw. I bought the reusable ones made from metal. They're great!
You forgot that you're a disability aid for people with mobility issues, swallowing issues, muscle spasms...
"Let me introduce my cousin - Mushy McPaper!" He encourages you to suck in all your drink in two minutes flat - or else.
Couldn't help but thinking of Buzz LIghtyear freaking out the first time his helmet was open.
"The bottom line was I felt better when I was making things for myself, so I began to treat comics as exercise, focusing on the repetitions with the hopes to engage those mental and emotional muscles that were atrophying. It was and still is an exorcism of sorts - it helps me process, emote, evaluate and have fun.”
Though considering the way some people drive, sometimes you have to wonder.

Josh believes in expressing himself in a variety of ways when it comes to art.
“Looking back I believe I was often expressing myself in a variety of ways - singing, acting, dancing, screaming for someone to look at me, etc., but drawing was the first material manifestation of this energy, and helped me put these ephemeral musings into something concrete.”
Taking all of that into consideration, we couldn't help wondering what people, or in other words, Josh’s followers, thought about the artist’s comics.
“You spelled 'terror' wrong. Hah, no, for real, I am thrilled by any reaction to anything I make - even if it's negative. I love seeing who responds to what, and as far as joyous reactions go, I am just astounded and grateful to think that I could have brought a smile to someone's face...especially when that smile breaks into maniacal laughter.”
Up down left right b b a start can be useful if you want to skip some hard levels ;)

For what? The word nipple? People on this site sort of get humor, from others, and then water it down to nonsense and repetition.
Load More Replies...Random info for you guys. Some tarantulas will kick the hairs on their body at the person or other that has scared them and they are trying to get away from them. Pretty much just like this comic🤓. The hairs cause intense itching and if they get in your eyes you will NOT be happy. A nice trip to the er so they can hopefully pull them out of your eye. Girl I know got 4 hairs in her eye and had to have surgery. I always get nervous when I see people putting tarantulas on their face in photos and videos. Tarantulas are not accessories. They are living, hair kicking, bad asses and should be seen and not handled.
As a hairy usmc combat vet and step dad, this works great on the step kids n their friends, but if it's a real bad guy, yer gonna have to resort to stabby stabby, shoot, or trachea crush type things!
I saw a whole nappy in the public pool on holiday, once. I never went to that half of the pool again.
I would have voted for poop (I am 100% sure it’s in a pool somewhere)
Really? I thought it would be the bloody tampon… they had to close the pool for a week after that. Or the used condom, although that may just be a legend.
Once I was diving for the pool ring toys I brought in the neighborhood pool and I saw a green lump that I thought some other kid must have left behind. So I swam up to it and it was a dead frog. I never dove in the deep end again.
I saw a tooth in the deep end once, with the mandatory plaster and clump of hair, of course.
I love that the entirety of the comments are a combination of ROO

I think it's supposed to be a bark, like in (when i posted this) #8.

Comics have the remarkable ability to take ordinary situations and imbue them with unexpected twists and humor. Both Andres Colmenares and Josh Sachs harness this power in their work, using their art to evoke laughter and reflection.
Through their unique styles, they showcase how everyday situations can become opportunities for creativity and joy.
Ummmmm…..I would not like a woman taking my baby away from me and breastfeeding it
how would it feel if you were just feeding your child with a milk bottle then some woman comes along, pulls off her shirt, then takes your baby and breastfeeds it. Then returns it, puts on their shirt, then walk away like nothing happened.
I guess I'll never be straight enough for meditation.
Load More Replies...Mein Gott, you can't use "deathbed" either, apparently. I mean really.
My logic: if I move to the sear next to me they'll think ik rude but if I stay here I'll have to deal with them aaaaa
Not as bad as the college student who stinks of BO and coughs with his HANDS over his mouth.

Load More Replies...The "did you just assume my X?" format is overused, lame and has never been funny.
The Comic is mocking trans and queer people who do not match traditional expectations of gender expression. Straight and cis people find it difficult to accept that they might be offending people by assuming their gender. Hence "you just assumed my... " "I'm transitioning to..." "... are questioning" It's a reference to gender

I know! Maybe it considers it educational… (or maybe they just haven’t censored it yet)
