Today Is Art Day, a popular online art community, is expanding its collection of artist action figures with the addition of Leonardo da Vinci, Vermeer, and Rembrandt. The three Old Masters join existing figurines, Vincent van Gogh and Frida Kahlo who were stand out hits of the collection after massive success on Kickstarter earlier this year.

Besides charming and adorable display items for the office or home, each figurine has unique features:

  • Leonardo has glow-in-the-dark hair, beard, and eyebrows allowing customers to spot the Renaissance man in the dark.
  • Vermeer comes with a pair of 8MM pearl earrings referencing his Girl with a Pearl Earring masterpiece.
  • Rembrandt has three sets of interchangeable eyebrows and mouths making it easy to customize his facial expressions based on some of his famous self-portraits.

“We wanted to make a big move to expand the collection and set our sights on three giants of art history,” said David Beaulieu, Today Is Art Day’s CEO and founder. “Each master’s contribution to art is so ground-breaking that we couldn’t imagine having this collection without them in it!”

Each action figure is made of PVC (plastic) and stands at 5’’ tall. They include famous masterpieces to be displayed on a mini-easel and 10 interesting facts on the packaging, giving an educational twist to the novelty of a cute figurine.
