Hi there, my name is Jody Lewis. Last year, I found out I have a very rare heart condition called dextrocardia situs solitus which has never really caused me any serious problems but was still a shock! Around the same time my dad had a serious heart attack and that’s when I decided to add “raise money for the British heart foundation” to my bucket list. Also on my bucket list was to achieve a Guinness world record so I combined the two. After waiting months to get the go ahead from the records department I finally went ahead and made a 10foot 5inch sock monkey completely from individual socks. It thank fully broke the world record! After a few months of storing him in my house I put him up for auction on eBay and he eventually sold for £255 which I personally was really pleased with…and what made it even better was that unbeknown to me the person that bought him was my childhood friend who uses him to promote her website about selective mutism. I made a world record, and raised money for charity and I couldn’t be happier!
