A Cashier Complimented Me And I Didn't Get It And I Decided To Create Characters And Comics Based On That Interaction
While buying something from some store somewhere the girl behind the counter complimented my hair. I was taken aback and could only muster up an awkward “thanks, you too” before leaving forever.
On my walk home I dreamed up scenarios of what would or could happen between myself and an imaginary retail assistant I named Sadi (Hawkins). I thought it would be funny if each character was hitting on the other at different times but neither of them got the memo.
Since these comics have taken place over the span of 10 months and two different kinds of software, the character designs and drawing quality has changed quite a bit!
