I’ve Been Finding Matches For Pantone Colors Of The Year Since 2000 To Inspire People To Use More Color In Their Lives
The first Color of the Year was announced by Pantone in 2000 and the winner color was Cerulean Blue. I love colors, and love to see that after the year 2000 conversation about colors has become more and more popular.
We’ve made this Pantone color of the Year history to show color inspiration is really important. Colors can express feelings, mood, and spirit – make the life happier.
We’ve tried to find expressive photos that celebrate colors and show the power of actual Color of the Year. We would like to encourage people using color inspiration every day in their work and life.
We tended to choose nature photos to represent the actual Color of The Year but sometimes powerful tones gave rise to other association.

I wanted my bedroom to be that colour that you get inside meringues, sort of creamy golden white? I had to go to one of those paint mixing places to get anything like it. Loved it

The cat in serenity stood out to me the most. The cat just looked... wise... like there something it knows that no one else knows.

A bunch of these could be light-sticks and official colours! Rose Quartz and Serenity for Seventeen, Turquoise for SHINee etc.
