I have been sculpting with chickenwire for years and now I visit schools and teach the craft to school pupils of all years. I have dozens of designs for different sculptures, penguins, birds, giraffe, dragonfly, scorpion, the list goes on and on. The TIE fighter is a reasonably simple piece that has been very popular in the school workshops. This brief video shows how it is made. All that is needed as well as chickenwire are a pair of cutters and a pair of bent nose pliers. More of my story can be seen at ChickenWired.com. Kits can be bought through the ChickenWired shop on Etsy. Cut, connect, create!
