Chalk-Drawn Adventures By David Zinn

Street artist David Zinn‘s (previously here and here) chalk creatures have been inhabiting Ann Arbor, Michigan since 2008. David calls himself an “inveterate doodler and a shameless word nerd” and uses art as a problem-solving tool. What are the problems he solves? Sad-looking street cracks, unappreciated blooming flowers, boring sidewalks, and other urban features that could use an additional sprinkle of happiness. David’s light-hearted creatures are small-scale but high-charm, and have earned him 180,000 followers on Instagram.

Not only are the drawings very good, but I love the way how creatively he uses the environment to tell a story.
Love these! what a great children's book you can write with these fantastic illustrations _ the sweetest! you're very very talented!
Amazing, Amazing! I would love these characters in my life for sure!
id be the guy stopping to take some wacky photo with each one of them. theyre so awesome.
How clever and fun. This artist is very imaginative and the incorporation of 3-d objects is awesome. I wish the medium wasn't temporary, but it does add to the magic and wonderment of the drawings
