Our chakras are associated with a wide range of colors. Color is a frequency and these frequencies can be used to balance chakras so they don’t get blocked. For bringing balance to our chakras we can use a lot of things to bring in the color frequencies we may be needing. The following list below might help.

Root Chakra

The Root Chakra is mostly associated with the color red. Some colors that are also connected to this chakra are black and brown. Wearing clothing that is red can boost this chakra. By eating food that is read you’re also bringing balance to your chakra. These can be strawberries, tomatoes, red peppers, raspberries etc. There are many crystals that are also colored red ( red jasper, ruby, garnet ). These crystals can be worn as well.

Sacral Chakra

Sacral Chakra is associated with the color orange. You’re able to wear something orange when you want to balance this chakra on the days you feel it needs balancing. Foods like, carrots, pumpkin, oranges or squash can also bring you balance to the sacral chakra. Crystals worth mentioning that are connected to this color are: carnelian, orange kyanite and orange calcite.

Solar Plexus Chakra

Yellow is a color that is connected to the solar plexus chakra. You can always wear something yellow on a daily basis. Even a bracelet is enough. Eating foods that are yellow also help with solar plexus chakra balance. The example of a few yellow foods are: corn, banana, peaches, lemons or grapefruits. By incorporating yellow crystals into your lives you can always carry a citrine, lemon quartz or a chrysoberyl.

Heart Chakra

Heart chakra is really important and it corresponds to the color green. Wear a green T-Shirt if you’re experiencing any problems, especially if your heart chakra isn’t balanced. Another color that is associated with the heart chakra is the color pink. You’re always welcome to eat green foods that are healthy and that help your heart chakra. A few examples of green foods are: broccoli, spinach, cilantro, green apples, kale etc. If you choose to wear crystals here are some important ones: green tourmaline, green calcite, jade or malachite.

Throat Chakra

You’re able to balance your throat chakra by wearing the color blue and also eat foods that are blue. Throat chakra even accepts color transitions that are dark blue to black, such as blackberries, black olives, black beans etc. If you’re wearing or carrying crystals you may wish to get a small piece of sodalite, aquamarine or turquoise.

Third Eye Chakra

The Third Eye Chakra is associated with the indigo color, that is a deep blue purple color. Purple foods such as: raisins, eggplant, grapes or purple cabbage can help in your balancing process. Stones that are purple and can be useful for this chakra are amethyst and charoite.

Crown Chakra

This Chakra is related to being violet. Sometimes it is even connected of being pure white or even without a color. Choose purple or violet shades when boosting this chakra. You may also feel drawn to the white color and that is completely okay. Purple foods really help in balancing and crystals such as quartz may bring some benefit for this chakra.

When using color for balancing the chakras, use your intuition to guide you on any given day. If you are feeling drawn to a particular color, go with that! There may be a reason you need it in your life that day.
