Once, while working night shift I was bored sitting in front of the monitor. I took a piece of paper and drew a bored guy with an hourglass and some strange things floating in the background. Since then, this image has become an unofficial mascot for me and my creative output.

Just think about it – there are so many things that we do unthinkingly, so many events that we let pass by unnoticed, so many times we wait for the day to be over while hurrying time and being bored. I’ve never been particularly fond of active pastimes, so my life has always been passing somewhere in between workplace and home, and that’s why my creativity had to become a tool for self-expression.

You may ask: What do you want to say with your illustrations? Why are they sometimes funny, sometimes sad, sometimes absurd (or even downright incomprehensible)? And my answer will be: All I do is first and foremost an exploration of myself and the limits of my fantasy. I do not set any great goals for what I do, I still work as a simple engineer, searching for inspiration in life that many of us live. I draw because I really feel the need to do so, and it makes me endlessly happy being able to share my ideas with a larger audience (while I’m also a bit curious where this whole thing would take me).
