I Turned My Cat Into A Fashion Diva After She Was Diagnosed With Feline Leukaemia

When I started my career as an amateur photographer I had a certain interest in high end portraits, however my funding was limited.

So I dressed my cat up like to total fashion diva and started taking couture portraits from home.

Unfortunately Hummus was diagnosed with Feline Leukaemia as a kitten which means that she cannot play outside as she can easily fall ill or spread the virus to cats in the area.

With Hummus being a house cat, we spend lots of time in photoshoots. The costumes featured in Cat Couture are designed, created and styled by hand using old materials and fabrics. From couture fashion to classic film icons, the theme of each shoot varies however they all hold one common element, cat fashion.

Hummus was diagnosed with Feline Leukaemia as a kitten

It means that she cannot play outside as she can easily fall ill or spread the virus to cats in the area

Hummus is a house cat, however her quality of life is wonderful

She plays at home all day with her toys

And gets spoiled with copious amounts of cat treats during our weekly photo shoots
