Honest question. How well do the colours stay as sharp as they appear in these pictures?

Depends on several factors: how well does your skin take ink, how heavy is your artist's hand, what are the colors/shades vs your skin tone, how well do you handle aftercare, age of ink, and how often do you moisturize and use sun protection. I'm half a shade darker than Scottish with the tanning ability of an albino lobster. A good coat of hydrating lotion has my decade old floral piece look like #35 (the only not fresh AI looking image to me)

I have a few tattoos that aren't on display and have meaning to me. I appreciate art and admire well done representations. I always wonder why people choose to mark their bodies for display. Eventually you run out of workspace. And if ever ever get tire or bored of the image, then what? When I got tattooed, it was still stigma attached to having too many and how visible they were to others. Now it is a free for all. Literally. When I see someone from a distance who is covered in ink, they mostly look like dirty skin and are not pretty. I am probably the voice of minority when I see full sleeves, hand, neck and face tattoos, I immediately think someone forgot to wash their skin and why do you want to look like a derelict? The way you present yourself really does affect how people treat you. So if you look like a circus side show, maybe stop putting that out there.
