Not my first Jeep. I currently have two in the driveway. And I've built another grand Cherokee before. This one is going to step up to 35,s and long arms next spring. My xj is getting boat sides and a low center of gravity build for 33-12.5 tires
Not familiar with boat sides could you explain and do have a lift on it? I love learning new things and now I'm curious about changing the center of gravity?
A low center of gravity build is where you design and build your vehicle to have as much flex as you can but with out having a huge lift. The lower the lift the lower your center of gravity is. I'm hoping to build my xj to fully stuff 33-12.5 tires with no more than a 3-4 inch lift. You can still have very good articulation and ground holding by using progressive springs and having more down travel than up travel.
