Hello Pandas! I’m Barb. I’m a ‘different-abled-wanna-be writer-animal-lover!’ I have been writing since I was nine. I started on my Dad’s Edward Don & Co. note pads. LOL I have Cerebral Palsy however, that did not stop my family from including me in family activities. One beautiful, spring day, my sisters removed the bedroom window screen and were sitting in the window, swinging their legs while Dad was downstairs working. I came crawling in and asked them what they were doing. You know how baby siblings are; I wanted to do it too. So one sister took my left arm-which still had a good rotator cuff-and my other sister took my right arm-together they hoisted me up to sit on the window ledge. They had a death grip on me as we sat there swinging our legs, chatting, when suddenly here came Mom’s big yellow car up the drive way. Eagle-eyed Mom spotted us and we knew we were in trouble. She slammed the front door and yelled at Dad. “John, do you know what they’re doing up there? They havemy baby in the window!”
