I've got black cats for no particular reason... but the ARE much harder to photograph, especially a not-choreographed simple snapshot. Very obvious difference with the stripey cats I've had.

I just love the colour black...shade whatever....I tend to always go for black pets,if I have a choice..... and at times that has led me to some beautiful bonds I would not have known otherwise....superstition is crazy...
