My daughter (5) walked up to me, announced "That's Mr. Chocolate." and walked away o_O
She looks so beautiful! She also looks she's saying "Aladdin, are you ready for the party?"
As a liberal, I believe that Disney is reality and representative of me and my mental disorders. I'm valid and empowered by massive corporations.
She isn't Princess Jasmine anymore...she is QUEEN Jasmine! She looks so innocent but so..idk..WONDERFUL!
More detail. And a bit more artistically drawn. Can you seriously not see that?
Load More Replies...I love Esmerelda she is awesome. I love her goat too!
She is not a princess per se, she is Esmeralda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Load More Replies...Okay this one is the best of the lot. So much color and detail. I love it.
I picked her all the time when I was a child. I used to wear all of my skirts while rest of the kids pick cinderella and Snow White
Moana was one of the better Disney movies, but this picture of her is even better. If it's from Lilo & Stitch, it's Best!
Moana is basically a less-racist version of Pocahontas. Daughter of the chieftain with her 2 pets, a bird and a fat mammal singing about her destiny and receiving a divine message from her ancestors....

I'm surprised it's never been brought up, but would the Indian Motorcycle brand be considered controversial? Though dignified, it's still a racial stereotype of an 'Indian' even if it's not as cartoonish as the Cleveland Indians' mascot.
Did anyone else notice her tattoo on her shirt sleeve?
Love the she is riding an Indian Motorcycle Company cycle. Love those bikes!
I am now imagining the singing voice as a young Cher rather than Irene Bedard
Again, again... I want the bike! I think I just want one in general...
This might be my new profile pic/background or something. Either way, I'm saving it
🎼"If I got a prize for rotten judgement.. I guess I've already won that."🎵 ..Oh how I can relate. lol
YES!!! credet and spotlight to Megara!!!!!!! #MegaraTheTruePrincessOfDisny
You do know that Greeks saw white as mourning for funerals..... right?
I always wondered why the never made it green....
Load More Replies...Same here. Merida and the movie Brave are so underrated. It got the most amazing story.
Load More Replies...Along with Tiana, Merida is my favorite character. Much better than Frozen
I absolutely LOVE that they created a software just to make her hair believable and movable. LOVE. IT. Being a curly girl....
This shows the dichotomy for her; legs & humanity v. her home underwater and being a mermaid.
She worked hard to get those legs, of course she has to show them off!
This is closer to fact. Disney remade her to fit modern "beauty standards ". In reality she was fairly short and what is currently considered overweight. Beauty standards are a load of hogwash. In her historic portraits I think she's a little cutie. They shouldn't have felt the need to glam her.
I love this! Disney tends to use a consistent body shape for all of the main women. I think that all shapes and sizes can be beautiful, just like this gorgeous girl!
I refuse to watch her movie anymore after reading up her historical context. She was stolen from her people, forced to give up her first child, raped and ultimately murdered.
Honestly, Disney should never have made a movie about her. She was kidnapped from her tribe, her first son was taken from her, she was raped and ultimately murdered by those who stole her. There is nothing happy to what happened to her.
And hair color tone. And eye color. And facial structure. I'm sure she is a hybrid of Ariel and Pocahontas!
Load More Replies...elsa would be disapointed 2020 covid if she was like this but it was normal for her to stay inside in a room and not socialise
Kida is my favorite Disney princess! In my opinion she's the best! 80k years old and still looking fine, knows all the languages, can fight, and has magic. So glad that there is more art of her going around!
It’s an art style. Why do Anna Elsa and Rapunzel all have the same bone structure
Load More Replies...Calling this artist out ..using same model and just changing hair..all your R shadows and highlights even the breast is all the same the face..everything exactly the same..pretty sure the Disney princesses have unique faces..all women do not look the same.
Referring to the picture above, and the comments, this Ariel had a different face!
It is Merida and Hawkeye as... Hawkida! In cinemas now
This artist uses cookie cutter techniques and I don't really like it. Everyone has the same face while Disney made effort to create different looking characters.
Calling this artist out ..using same model and just changing hair..all your R shadows and highlights even the breast is all the same the face..everything exactly the same..pretty sure the Disney princesses have unique faces..all women do not look the same.
This is basically the plot of The Little Mermaid: Return to the Sea. Ariel's daughter Melody felt trapped in her palace and wondered what it'd be like to be a Mermaid, which she didn't know existed for reasons. An underrated gem, and a great movie with some really great gems of songs. Ariel is also canonically the only Disney Princess in a sequel to have become a mother.
No I think it's like ariel's child and he/she wants to be a mermaid
Load More Replies...What do you mean, he's adorable! I love the boy transformations.
Load More Replies...She is wearing them. Just the back, of the outfit is like a dress to cover the back of the legs/pants
Load More Replies...I honestly couldn’t even tell that this was Merida, it seems too feminine for her, and her hair is usually unkempt. But I do like the art 😁
What's with different princesses posed in front of the same hedge??!
they're all by the same artist lmao, they're probably part of a collection or series by them
Load More Replies...Same. I’m a fan of Lizzo and I thought this was so pretty.
Load More Replies...Is a non-white character only allowed to wear clothing that is 'traditional' to their country? Kinda racist, don't you think?
Load More Replies...It's Kida from Atlantis, one of my favorite Disney movies- it was very steampunk.
Load More Replies...Curves or even "fat" can look better on some women. Skinny ones can look starved or ill.
Ugly is a concept, sweaty. Big noses might be unattractive to some, but beautiful to others. Everyone is beautiful, no matter what. However, your personality seems quite unappealing, due to the fact you feel the need to put others down. c:
Load More Replies...Why is she wearing a bikini? Does every female character have to be sexualized?! 😡😡
Why do you see bikini as sexualization? This picture has a warrior princess vibe, she's not even in a suggestive pose. In some places, people wear even less.
Load More Replies...For those of you upset that it's very revealing; I think it really depends on the context. If she was opposed to it, she should not be there. If she's cool with it, it's epic. She may be wearing it for the aesthetic, not actual battle. Everyone is allowed to feel good in anything, be it sweatpants, a tube top and jeans, or nothing at all !
Her dreams of swirling around as she sweeps the floor. Who knew she would actually live them?
Click on the tiny link under the picture. This one says isida2009
Load More Replies...Aw, Ariel is so cute when she uses a fork in her hair. The expression is so sweet!
This is the gypsy girl from The Hunchback of Norte Dame (lol can't even spell) so her face does actually look like this...
Load More Replies...because you cant just be fat you have to have an excuse? typical
Load More Replies...I'm going to sound like an a**, but I legit thought their stomachs were just... shiny...
Load More Replies...Wait I'm so confused the stomach is facing us but the entire top half is facing Aladdin?? Bruh if you wanted to face her forwards face her forwards haha
Calling this artist out ..using same model and just changing hair..all your R shadows and highlights even the breast is all the same the face..everything exactly the same..pretty sure the Disney princesses have unique faces..all women do not look the same.
Glad this artist shows different body shapes, so much more realistic!
I love how this artist just shows how they would look in wedding dresses
Her hair looks absolutely beautiful as it flows in this pic. I also love the accessory along with it.
As with my comment on Belle, Merida would have had a lot of extremely hard work to do, keeping her slim. Perhaps in middle age, this would be her.
She can ride her horse, shoot arrows, and remain happy. Happiness is the most important part.
Load More Replies...Can anyone tell me who this princess is? I think I know but I can't put my finger on it yet.
Glad you knew who this was. I'm having difficulty telling them apart when they're all posed this way. I need a point of reference.
Can i just say.. Depicting any one of these princesses as obese doesnt fit the character or their lifestyle logically.. I mean Airelle swims all day long... She is a mermaid.. I cant think of a better work out than swimming. Really she looks more like ursula who does nothing but eat and have flotsum and jetsum wait on her all day. Airelle is supossed to be adventrous and an explorer. I could go on, you see where Im going with this. Anyway. Just a thought.
First, you can absolutely be adventurous and an explorer with any body type. Second, mermaids were inspired by manatees aka fat blubbery animals. In fact, all marine mammals have way more blubber than you would expect, even ones like dolphins which are the most physically active marine mammals. That's because the ocean is COLD, especially in deep water (like where we see Atlantas being) and the fat insulates their warm blood. Blubber/fat is also one of the best natural floatations devices in the world, and since mammals need to breathe air, it helps them rise to the surface easily. It also keeps their saline (salt) levels in check, since osmosis means all the salt in the ocean is trying to enter through your skin, an oily fat layer resists that.
Load More Replies...Not sure I like this one as well. Maybe because it brings to mind Ursula.
With all of the physical work she had to do, I think this one is a little overdone. On the other hand, when you're poor you eat a lot of carbs!
If you think she is large for a worker, I thought Pocahontas, as a hunter/gatherer was a tad large, as well, but these are all from the artists' imagination so it can be whatever they want.
Load More Replies...You ARE beautiful. Everyone is pretty. No matter what, everyone is pretty. Maybe you have a big nose that you don't like? Well that kid in your science class loves big noses, and they think you're beautiful. Have you ever seen someone and thought how good they look, how nice their accessories are, or how cool their hair was? How often have you mentioned it to them? For most people, they don't mention it to the person often. Someone may have seen you and thought about how handsome you are, but never told you. You're your own kind of wonderful. 🌺
Load More Replies...Ok, once again with all of the hard, physical work she had to do, it's unlikely Cinderella would have been this curvy, but why do we feel disgust for women (and men) who are larger than others?
are you TRYING to get downvotes? on every post that has something slightly contreversial, you come at it with the wrong attitude. this is literally art. if you don't like it, fine, but watch your mouth. don't say anything if you can't say something nice.
Load More Replies...Everyone arguing about how offensive "fat" is as a word and here I am, glad to see leg hair because there is no way you are in a jungle in that time with perfectly smooth legs.
Oh, I totally forgot that all women should shave, even during an expedition where there is no access to such things! If I ever go to a forest, I shall bite my leg hair off just for you. ;)
Load More Replies...I love this, but is it just me or is her head looking a bit detached from her neck??
Yes, I feel like her face is too large for her head - the back of her skull should be more pronounced.
Load More Replies...The dress is pretty, but the princess looks emaciated as if she has bulimia, anorexia, or another disease.
hey, i don't have a problem with you, but i had anorexia at age 9 and you just brought back some horrible memories. next time, can you keep that thought to yourself? my ptsd episodes are really stressful. thanks
Load More Replies...Would have been funnier if it was a frying pan in her hand (the cause of all the extra pounds).
Bold of you to assume who they are and assume their effort levels. What if that is someone who struggles with a mental illness who draws to cope and wanted to show people? What if it's an insecure person who wanted to see people boost their confidence, and you shatter it instead? <3 If you wish to insult art, suggest ways to improve it, and make sure it's wanted critique.
Load More Replies...If you want to know how to swim just learn. It’s not about body size.
Whales are mammals that swim and have a really thick layer of protective fat. Might be an advantage to the mammal half of a mermaid.
Load More Replies...notice this is the same drawing as the one above it, just changed colors and details ... same face
I was just saying the same thing to my husband.
Load More Replies...A,l the shadows and highlights are exactly the same..the magic of photoshop. Save layers, change colors by just clicking, the body , head are set, then the artist just adds the layer of hair, clothing and accessories.. seriously lazy and why are they featured?
I see your point, but complain less, sometimes. Your comments got to be more annoying than the art. Art is subjective and at least that person is trying. It's not my choice, nor platform, but it isn't yours either. You need to realize that there is a person behind that Art and I am sure they got your message the first 3 or 4 times you complained about them. You should have stopped at that point, but you continued to the point of being a bully. Not cool at all. I am an art teacher and you need to realize that it doesn't take much to encourage and even less to discourage. Think about the hat and I encourage you to be a better person.
Load More Replies...It’s like here’s how to create a model. Then you can change hair clothes, lighting all in photoshop..it’s like his tutorials or like a how to ..so weird..should not be highlighted here though, especially 20 times when his characters literally are identical in all the ways that count..takes little time or skill to not have to redraw a face for each princess ..good idea for lazy people though.
There person who did these also did the wedding dress ones and others on this list. I think the ones that look like this are part of a series, kinda like a Warhol. Click on his link below a picture and you'll see what I mean. He's very talented and far from lazy.
Load More Replies...Ok so this is exactly exactly like the one with the blue top..you’re a bit of a hack..
It's not so much your art as your decision to make everyone look the same......
If you follow Bored Panda you have seen Disney Princesses turned into everything under the sun.
You mean the cookie cutter portraits of archibald.art.
Load More Replies...Wow, Disney Princesses huh? how did you come up with that?! brilliant
I really appreciate the work and re-imagining of other artists, but what is the obsession with redrawing Disney Princesses? I feel like whenever there is nothing to report on in the news or discuss in greater details, listicle sites fall back on the old trope of: "Here are 50 Disney princesses re-imagined as members of 1980s hair bands." Perhaps, I'm finally getting old and out of touch- oh, no! (The horrour). Why not redraw Marvel characters or characters from other books, movies, and novels. Perhaps feature work by artists designing their own original characters as well. I would love to see some original character designs.
I just realized something. Disney princesses are our collective culture's gods. Every culture has statues and paintings of its gods and their stories in multiple iterations. They even have their "domains". Goddess of books, goddess of the sea, goddess of war, goddess of the forest, goddess of magical hair.
