These pieces are inspired by life events, lovely floral arrangements, or something as simple as a group of wildflowers by roadside. Flowers have been a favorite subject to paint. All paintings are done with heavy oil and palette knife, with the exception of earlier works (2010-2014). The layers and dimension of color, texture, and in some cases, the movement of flowers are all elements I’ve worked hard to capture and continue to improve on with every new floral painting. Enjoy!

Although some have been quick to categorize my work as impressionistic or post-modern, I have never considered myself confined to a single style. I simply paint what inspires me, and nature offers limitless inspiration. Art has been a means of self-expression since the time I could pick up a paintbrush. I have developed my techniques by trial and error, slowly mastering the use of color and texture to breathe dimension and life into my ideas.
I have a gallery and studio in Downtown Cary, NC.
