Aipoly is a free, downloadable app for iPhones that helps visually impaired people to quickly identify everyday objects. All its users need to do is point their phones at the object, and the app will tell them what it sees using text or its voice system. Airpoly works in 7 different languages, and after winning the innovation award at CES 2017, the developers are already working on Aipoly glasses.

I'm not understanding why the text is there for visually impaired people. If they can read the screen, can't they see the object enough to identify it?
Actually no, it's hard for us vision impaired people to sometimes see things that maybe in cursive or are a bad contrast, this app would act
