Hahahaha i planned a water birth no drugs quiet music .....my reality was COMPLETELY different! I was three weeks overdue baby was NOT coming on her own, because she didn’t fit being she was 3 weeks over!! I ended up having a failed induction I suffered ptsd from the ordeal and had an emergency c section, you can plan all you like baby will either come when they’re ready OR you might need help! It doesn’t make you less of a mother if your way of birthing is different to the plan. My nephew's lungs were underdeveloped at birth even though he was full term.and if he wasn't born in a hospital where he could be rushed to ICU he would be dead.so no,a home birth is not a good idea it could cost you and/or your child's life.and dont even get me started on the vaccines! i don't like this woman

Andrew Wakefield was found guilty by the General Medical Council of serious professional misconduct in May 2010 and was struck off the Medical Register, meaning he could no longer practice as a doctor in the UK. Wakefield's paper re the link between MMR and autism was described as "perhaps, the most damaging medical hoax of the last 100 years". Unfortunately he has merely moved elsewhere and is still endangering lives with his misinformation.

Just a little background so you can understand where I stand on this vaccination issue and why. I have two sons, born 5 years apart. They both had the same vaccinations. The older one shared top honors in his high school graduating class with another person. The younger one is another story all together. He was diagnosed being in the light to medium autism range by Emory University Autism Research Center at the age of 5. We were told that he might not ever be able to carry on an intelligible conversation. We refused to believe this diagnosis was 100 percent correct. As time went on, we proved them wrong. We discovered that he was hyper sensitive to most of the artificial color and preservatives in foods. It would cause extreme hyper-activity and combativeness. Because of this, I have read everything I could get my hands on that was publicly available. ALL of this research points toward a genetic defect that occurs before birth.

Kittie, yeah, so it's vegan. Still not all-natural. Neither is makeup, and yet Kat is a makeup icon in her own right. I did briefly wonder about that, humans are just a type of animal after all. Apparently vegans do not consider human breastmilk non-vegan (though there may be the odd extremist exception) as the key difference is that humans are able to consent whereas animals are forced into it and there's usually inhuman practices associated with milking.

Lactose intolerance only applies to "I think" cow milk. I can drink goats milk fine and I'm lactose intolerant. So it wouldn't apply to human breast milk being fed to a human baby. On a somewhat similar note some other creatures can not even stomach cows milk but can be fine on goats milk for example.

A doula is a special formof midwife. If you have one, you typically still have a midwife. The midwife would care rather for the medical things, at birth and for a few weeks after, tge doula might more holistically accompany pregnancy and first month with the child

A doula is not a what but a who- usually a woman who assists the midwife and perhaps helps care for the baby while the mother recovers from childbirth.

Not a midwife, but more like a midwife's helper. We were not able to have any family around when our child was born (everybody live far away), and the Doula was invaluable. Over the time that my wife was in labor I could grab something to eat, pick up some of the baby stuff, etc., and the Doula stayed around to help and advocate for my wife.

You do realize that ALL of the ingredients in "cruelty free" cosmetics have ALREADY been tested on animals, right?

i know that all cosmetic things have at some point in the past been tested on animals - we cannot undo this - we can only ensure that in future animals are sacrificed purely for medical necessity and not beauty
