Apparently, You Can Buy A Baby Mop-Onesie On Amazon And People Are Not So Sure About Them

The world is overflowing with the most hilarious and outrageous things you can buy online. Inflatable zipper hoody, bread-shaped pillow, pizza blanket – you name it. The vast world of the Internet is here to give you all of it. Of course, these ideas are not something really that outrageous or rule-bending. But if that was indeed too mellow for you, we have something for you here that the good people of the Internet just can’t wrap their heads around.

More info: BabyMop

Apparently, there’s a baby onesie that can serve as a mop

The German company “Babymop” advertises their product, explaining it’s a perfect way to utilize your child’s mobility to help out with daily chores, while also protecting “the fine tissue and the tender bones of your offspring while it cleans your floor.”

That’s available for purchase on Amazon

It was originally designed by a German company that suggested parents use the mobility of their children

It’s supposed to fit toddlers from 8 to 12 months of age since that’s the time when they crawl the most. But Amazon actually has options for 3-to-6-months-olds and 6-to-9-months-olds as well so you can make use of your baby rolling around on the floor at all times.

To help with daily chores such as floor mopping

While the idea could seem genius, they forgot about all the dirt and germs lurking on the floor

While some people might even take this seriously and advocate it is important to allow even the smallest members of the family to learn the importance of cleaning up and doing chores, most of them found it hilarious and took it even further by making hilarious reviews.

And are definitely not creating the best environment for the baby

Some people used this flaw to their advantage and posted hilarious reviews on Amazon

But apparently, Kit Kat had already come up with this idea a long time ago – here’s a commercial back from 2011 for an extra treat of madness!

While so many people chose to react to this with humor, there were some who took it in all seriousness

I remember seeing something very similar to this several years ago on a Japanese website for “absurd” and useless inventions called “Chindogu”. There was even some whacky commercial for it. The product was meant as a joke, but still a really bizarre yet ingenious idea if you ask me.

Great baby immune system booster lol. Such a gross idea. I hope it was a joke. I'm all for baby immune system boosting but there's a limit. Proper mopping is done wet with chemical soaps. Great for babies skin

And it even cushions the knees and elbows of the baby! Very practical!! 😂 The Kit Kat commercial is both absurd and hysterical

The kid is going to crawl on the floor and get dirty regardless of what he's wearing. This makes perfect sense to me.

This isnt anything new, they had this is the Sears Catalog back in the 1970's, someone went with an updated version of it on Shark Tank a few years back, etc. Every few years someone re-releases it with their own twist, the media goes nuts, and then it disappears. This is really really old news.

I don't really care about the "BABY MOP THING" but instead of a KitKat why not a Snickers or Twix, like come on

The "mop" part of these onesies is a bad idea., but the floof on the elbows is just precius.

This reminds me of an article by Erma Bombeck where she talks about women saving time cleaning. "Pick up the persian cat and drag it across the bookcase for a quick dusting."

Well the floor should already be swept and mopped before allowing the baby to crawl all over it. this is just a funny way to help upkeep in between cleaning. Plus offers nice padding for his knees and elbows.

Everything babies this age wear is a mop!!! It just doesn't look this stupid! You ever looked at the soles of tour socks when you don't wear slippers around the house!

I suppose you clean the floor anyway before you let the baby play on it with or without the mop cloth. I can't see something wrong unless someone bought like a real mop and not like a toy for the baby.

This is very unsafe for children. They could slip or fall down the stairs. Like why it's dangerous. Just get one of these IMG_1530-5...5cc15e.jpg IMG_1530-5dc5df65cc15e.jpg

This is a fantastic idea....that is if you want your child to be playing with the filth on the floor because it's attached to their clothes. I wonder if any science has been done to determine what, if anything on the floor, can make someone sick?
