When I saw this story on Bored Panda – https://www.boredpanda.com/spiraling-treetop-walkway-effekt-denmark/?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=Newsletter, I thought I will share my day trip from July. While they are still planning a treetop walkway, Czech Republic already offers such place. It’s a place called Stezka Korunami Stromu, which translates to Tree Top Trail.

The Trail is located in Karkonosze Mountains (Giant Mountains), in a town Janske Lazne. The Trail is 1300 meters long and ends with a 45 m high tower. Along the way, you can learn about the surrounding Nature and how trees grow. At the top of the tower you can take in lovely mountain views.

What was most important for me is the fact, that the whole place – from the ticket counters to the small restaurant – is perfectly wheelchair accessible. I’m using a wheelchair, so I can guarantee the whole place has great access. It’s an amazing place, peaceful and beautiful.

Oh and one more thing – you can slide from the top (well, almost the top) in a closed tube slide, which might be fun for kids.

All the photos below were taken by me or my family members. Enjoy!
