Here Are My 30 Pics Of My Alice In Wonderland Photoshoot Which Took 6 Months To Make

I truly went down a rabbit hole for this shoot! This was a six-month project. I, my husband and my sister created the props, built thrones, reupholstered chairs, painted teacups, and other props to bring this to life. I had the gowns and headpieces custom made as well.

It was so incredibly rewarding carrying out a vision created mostly by hand! Special thanks to: gowns custom-designed by Stella Maris Tutu Atelier, headpieces and talking flowers by The Head Mistress (Tia Mapes), models: Alice: Marlie Queen, Peyton Hatter: Parker Hare, Char Cheshire Cat, Kaidance Mouse: Peyton.

The amount of work just to prepare for the various scenes must have been monumental. I'm not a jealous person, but i do envy those with artistic vision and you have it in spades (no pun intended).

I'm interested in what was done with the finished product. Gallery exhibit? Selling individual images? The work is dazzling. I'm a huge Alice lover and I want to live there!

i love how creatively creepy and beautiful all of these costumes are. the boots of the cheshire cat are super cool! i love her whole costume. and i thought the spools of thread on the mad hatters hat was a very unique design. i actually loved all of the hats! XD and i love the props! you did such a good job on them, and you included so many details from the book/movie! the teacups were also very cute and pretty, and the backdrop was quite magical! great job!~ ♥

Tara, just wow. Nothing else can even come close to describing your work. I would love to see just a series on your costumes and masks.

When I read the title, I wonder why it took 6 months. Then I saw all the props and costumes. Just, wow! It really takes effort & time to do all of it. The outcome was beautiful. I like that Alice wore a high boots, she looks cool.

Too bad they're so closely adapted from Burton's movie. Surely some more own creativity would have made the shots even better...
