I finished my second Hummingbird this week. They are so much more labour intensive than my other small birds but the effect is stunning! This one is green with blue and purple feathers but also a little added feathery crop above his beak.
I love making these, the finished piece is always an absolute joy. I’m now taking a break from all those bright colours to work on a robin. Lots of brown and lots of red :)
