A Story Of Healing And Hope

I’ve been a long time lurker and love this community, I enjoy the content here so much and it always brightens my day to scroll around here. Now it’s time for my first post, please bear with me…

A year ago, I was homeless, living on the streets of Barcelona. But thanks to the kindness of a stranger—an incredible woman who opened her home to me—I’ve managed to rebuild my life. Over the past year, I’ve poured my heart into writing poems that have helped me process the trauma of those times. These poems are the foundation of a book I’m in the process of publishing, a book that represents my struggle.

However, things have taken a turn. The house I’ve been staying in, while a safe haven, is slowly falling apart. After the last heavy rain, mould has begun seeping through the walls and ceiling, and I’m desperately trying to raise funds to get essential repairs done. The situation is urgent, as the mould is worsening, and the damage is spreading. That’s the least I can do to show her how grateful I am.

Here’s where you come in. I’m asking for help to raise the money needed for the repairs.
