During the Covid-19 pandemic, almost all SMEs, especially street vendors and marginal people in Indonesia, lost their jobs as well as diminished daily income, such as in JABODETABEK area, precisely in the city of Tangerang. Many street vendors claimed their income dropped significantly by 80% and stated that their lives are far more concerned during this Corona plaque because people are reluctant to buy snacks outside the home during this pandemic outbreak attacking the world, especially in Indonesia.

Even though in the midst of these impacts, a new Start-up sector such as G R U Z Z E has even actively contributed to providing a lot of humanitarian assistance in the socio-economic situation of the people, especially in the Tangerang city, by providing grocery assistance to marginal people who really need it and who are affected by the Covid-19 plague.

Not only that, G R U Z Z E, one of the Indonesian Fashion Leather companies, which is one of the premium handmade leather productions in Southeast Asia, wants to encourage more Start-up to actively contribute to the public society during the Covid-19, with its mission #COVID19Solidarity Care for Fellow Indonesians.

Annually, we dedicated ourselves to contribute to society into our company project under the name Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) & Philanthropy. “

Although it was established in 2015, G R U Z Z E only began to run its business in late 2019, were not long after the Covid-19 outbreak hit the city of Wuhan and became a pandemic in 186 countries in the world. “However, even though G R U Z Z E has just been running does not mean that we are not taking part in efforts to help the marginal people in this difficult time,” said Tika as COO & Co-Founder of G R U Z Z E.
