We have been together forever! Like over half my life!! We’ve been through everything, I thought- but never a marriage! Everyone had asked us, “when are you getting married?”, from the first year!! That was never on our spectrum! We were having fun! Living a rock star life!! Living with his parents!!!! Working and partying! Doing the thing! We grew up! Bought a house, put partying to the side. Other than the occasional PHISH show- we were doing a great job of saving!

It never stopped and my answer was always NEVER!! 19 years later, I came home and said, “hey babe- do you still want to marry me?” He says, “Of course! I have always wanted to marry you!! I love you!” I melted! We made a date! Picked our son up from school, hired a photographer, and did the damn thing! No family, no friends. Just US!! It was the perfect day! He married my crazy, stupid, drunk ass! And I have never been happier!
