16 Whistle-Blowing Confessions Of A True Love Before And After 16 Years Of marriage!
Are some marriages as happy as people’s Facebook and Instagram photos suggest?
Of course not, but we’re not about to take photos when we’re having bad moments so we can share them on social media!
Maybe that’s why some people cry at weddings: they know that perfect love is about to go through a hard test it may not survive!
Today, in a whistle-blowing move, I’m kicking the door right open on what’s behind those happy pictures we all post of our perfect marriages on social media by superimposing my stick people confessions over them!
While there are justifiable reasons why some marriages don’t survive (My 1st didn’t!), others could have been saved by, among other things, a good sense of humor.
Here’s to the ones that do survive! You know what I’m talking about!
And here’s to my husband, whom I love with all that I am: to another great happy and annoying 16 years of hilariousness together, carefully documented in the same embarrassing fashion.

Share on FacebookThis is adorable! I read once that one of the reasons Romeo and Juliet’s love is immortal is that they never got past the honeymoon period. We never saw what their relationship would have been like had they gotten married with children!
Thanks, Tanya! I love the comment about Romeo and Juliet!
Load More Replies...At first, I didn´t notice the photos in the background. They really add another dimension to this. Lovely!
Thanks for pointing that out about the photos! Maybe I should talk about them in the written intro since others may not notice them.
Load More Replies...As a culture, we tend to be pretty cynical about the prospect of romantic love, but no matter how cynical we are about the prospect of life-long love, it still seems to be what we all are after.
