Young Artist Puts Her Pajamas On And Shares Powerful Message About Self Esteem
23 year old singer/songwriter and model, Elina Laivera
felt like most people do not appreciate themselves enough or for the right reasons -resulting in bad self esteem, resulting in behavior that would prevent them from achieving their dreams and goals.
So she decided to go out to the world and talk about SELF ESTEEM in her pajamas and no make up on.
”Especially in the music scene, we receive a lot of criticism regarding who we are and the work we do and this is something that can kill you if you don’t have a healthy self esteem and base the idea you have about yourself on other peoples’ opinion and critic”, says Laivera.
”I am a young woman that has worked also as a model and I do believe that appearance is important but it should not dictate how you feel about yourself. Especially for this reason I went on a camera with my pajamas, with no make up on and crazy hair. Make your kind character and positivity your flag and march on!”
”I thought that it would have a better effect if people heard that stuff from a struggling artist. You see, an artist might attend 100 auditions and be rejected, get bad critic etc but we keep going because (most of us) believe in ourselves. Such should be the attitude of every person – artist or not. Self esteem is the A and Omega in managing to do what you do in life and staying happy about it no matter how harsh critic you’re receiving.”
