Bird Born is a Moscow-based illustrator who usually creates fun comics about daily lives of human-like cats. However, after adopting a dog he was so moved that he decided to illustrate his experience.

Our story is the same. This comic summarised well the exprerience, loved it! During the daily walks I realised the flowers, which season have the exact fruits and herbs. My husband come with us and we're talking like in the dating period. The reason: a shelter doggy, that we adore and she make our day complete now.

I am crying now. What a lovely drawings and those dog's eyes... I can't resist the tears. People who are taking animals from shelters are awesome.

Wonderful story AND beautifully illustrated. Adoption is the way to go and so it was for my three kitties.

In march i adopted a dog too from an animal shelter and the experiencie was wonderful. At first he was afraid too, he didn't understand what to do with all the toys he had. After five months he changed radically, he awakes me every morning with his toy to play. It's a beautiful experience ever. From Argentina, great post!
