My heart is heavy upon hearing the news about the senseless violence that occurred in Orlando, Florida. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and families of those who perished from this terrorist attack. One could never fathom the profound loss and the feeling of emptiness you are going through right now. But please know that we love you and the WHOLE world is hurting because of what happened.
And to the perpetrator of this cowardly act…
Today, we are heartbroken because you took away the lives of our brothers and sisters, the resplendent beauty of their souls you will never comprehend because you choose to keep the company of darkness and ignorance. If you can’t get a life and enjoy this beautiful world, don’t take the beautiful souls of those who are having the time of their lives. One could never fathom the profound loss and the feeling of emptiness you are going through right now. But please know that we love you and the WHOLE world is hurting because of what happened.
You will now and then show your evil ways, but from where I am standing, we will continue to thrive and flourish as peace-loving and life-loving human beings. Even now while you are hoping we are going to run away. We won’t. You simply cannot change or diminish our way of life. No matter how many times you try to terrorize us, we will always choose to be FREE from fear and hate.
We will continue to sing and dance, celebrate what is good in this world. We are resoundingly rejecting the invitation to join you in your miserable way of living.
We will not allow you to change the way we exist and peacefully co-exist with others. You can momentarily deafen our ears with the loud noises of your bombs and gun-fires but we are far more numerous than you, and the sound of our laughter and the music of our souls have time and again proven to be far LOUDER than your hatred.
You will not imprison nor takeaway our humanity.
