We Are Freckled: Swedish Photographer Captured 100+ Beautifully Freckled People
Freckles are something that have fascinated people in all times. One of them is the swedish photographer Jonas Carmhagen who has just finished his photo book called “We are freckled”.
“In nothing but sheer daylight, over one hundred people have been photographed for this book. Among many, you will find the mother, daughter, model, waitress, father, son, lawyer, student, brother, sister, CEO, pensioner, businessman, cousin and grandparent. Many of these beautiful people have grown up hating their freckles, but later come to love them. I want to tell everyone — freckled or not — that you are beautiful precisely the way you are created, and to not bother spending time thinking otherwise.”

I normally freckle during Spring & summer months, but taking Tetracycline after dental work, it was as if I was the adult version of the character "Specks" in the "Little Rascals." I believe the antibiotic makes you sensitive to the sun. Just being outdoors for 20-30 minutes was like someone took a ink brush and speckled my face w/ it as well as the photo-sensitivity, uneasiness much like... hmm...well... Dracula?
