Ever wanted to get up close to flamingos? On a recent trip to Aruba, I visited Renaissance Island, a 40-acre tropical retreat owned by Renaissance Hotel, and I was able to admire (and hand-feed!) these pink beauties from a gorgeous white sand beach.
The island can be reached by an 8-minute water taxi ride. You either have to be a guest of the hotel or pay a daily fee.
