The Postal Project is on a mission to capture a picture of every post office in the country. Led by two Atlanta creatives, Brandon Friedman (Creative Director of Moe’s Southwest Grill) and Dave Taylor (Sr. Art Director for Moe’s), The Postal Project showcases how no two post offices look alike – despite every town in the U.S. having one. This Instagram-based project is a combination of architecture, geography, photography, history, nostalgia and Americana. After all, the post office is one of the threads of this country, and each one has a story to tell. Some of the stories can be told with a picture while others have interesting backstories that add to their character. We post a different post office every day, and most of them now are submitted by our followers.
The more attention we get, the more likely we are to reach our goal as well as garner up the necessary support to preserve the USPS.
