Magical Macro World Of Snails And Bugs By Vadim Trunov
Vadim Trunov, a self-taught nature photographer based in Voronezh, Russia, takes beautiful macro photos of snails, insects and mushrooms that seem to personify them and weave beautiful little stories around these oft-overlooked creatures’ lives.
Trunov often creates these warm and beautiful moments by manipulating and placing his unwitting subjects, but they don’t seem to mind much. He doesn’t have to go far to find them, either – many of his photos were taken near his home.
Be sure to check out this award-winning photographer’s other photos as well – it looks like the squirrels of Voronezh are especially fond of his camera gear!

Being a mushroom hunter, I really loved these fine shots. One question: was the lighting 100% natural or did u use a light? Thanks!
Oh my God, another fantastic work of Vadim Trunov. You are very smart. You know how to create astonishing pictures by using ordinary elements like snails or a grasshoppers , a drop of water, a leaf..... And this is art. I like the colors of the pictures, they are very lively and give me a very good feeling of life. Thank you 😀
