Chase, Haagen Dazs, and Klondike are 4-month-old Pit Bulls who have already suffered more than any living being should in a lifetime. Abused and suffering from severe, untreated mange, they were taken from their previous owner and brought to Washington Humane Society.

Chase was in the worst situation. His skin was badly infected, he was emaciated, had low blood sugar, low body temperature, and low blood protein. He couldn’t even walk without assistance. However, he’s in good hands now and on his way to recovery. He and Klondike are being fostered and Haagen Dazs has been adopted.

“Cruelty to animals in any form can never be tolerated and the people of our community should know that we will relentlessly pursue those that commit these crimes,” said Lisa LaFontaine, president and CEO of the Washington Humane Society/Washington Animal Rescue League.
