33 Perfectly Timed Photos

You may be the best photographer in the world, but sometimes all it takes to take the best shot is being in the right place at the right moment. It doesn’t even matter if you take it with your cell or high-end DSLR. Often, you won’t even notice you made an incredible picture until you come home and transfer your photos to a computer.

However, that doesn’t mean you should stop improving your photography skills and just wait for that one and only moment. As a popular saying goes:

Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity.”

So be prepared for it and be lucky! Here are 33 perfectly timed photos to get you inspired.

I must say i completely agree with Angus, the eagle is fake and the mannequin one is from an ad. I love the rest, though.

As for the suggested pics by other people here, they are all crap, apart from Nick’s. :-)

Here is one photo I did take in 2009 at the EX in Toronto & Air Show. Being on the ground surrounded by buildings and not be able to see what direction the planes might come from. It really was a pure luck and timing; I wasn’t even ready for this. I heard the planes flying really low so I kind of new where they are coming from. As soon I heard and saw them I quickly lifted up my camera towards the planes and took the shot, I only had time for one shot…planes didn’t wait on me:). This image is unedited straight out of the camera. I used Sony A700 with Minolta 80-200 f2.8 HS APO G lens which really helped a lot with very quick focus. Enjoy the image at http://www.flickr.com/photos/chmielarski/3898254110/in/set-72157622171021165/
