Meet Rhea (previously here), a bird who lost the ability to fly, but not the desire to live. This little parrot suffers from Psittacine beak and feather Disease (PBFD), so unfortunately she has to live without any feathers. Luckily for Rhea, her mum Isabella Eisenmann loves the birdie regardless: “Acceptance is key and no matter how different you are physically, you are still beautiful,” she said. Isabella is not the only one who accepts Rhea the way she is – almost 250,000 people follow her on Instagram. The best part? They send custom-made sweaters to the lovebird to keep her warm and cozy!
