Newborns And Babies, Why I Love Capturing Them In A Pure And Simple Way
Bam! So I woke up one morning and there it was in all it’s glory – the moment I realised, the moment I knew that I could make others see newborn photography the way I see it. As a newborn photographer it’s easy to be led by new props, colours, styles, but I knew I wanted my photography to be more than that. I see life very much in black and white and equally my photography seems to be following suit. I want to portray new life and the months that follow, when a baby sees things with such intrigue, in just that way, pure and simple and raw.
I want to create art that is timeless and emotive that leaves you in no doubt about what you are viewing. That they are the firsts, the times that you can’t get back and the memories that become lost along the years. For parents to know that no matter how big their baby becomes there was a time when they were small and vulnerable.
