Traharn Chidley is an inspirational to us all. At 17 she found herself in the middle of a violent relationship that had her fearing for her life.
Struggling to find a way out, Traharn looked to her family for help who encouraged her to take up mountain biking and running.
“I loved the social life biking started to bring back into my life, people of all ages, abilities, backgrounds become connected and form an amazing bond through biking. I started leading a double life and it slowly pieced me together again.”
As part of a video campaign by Sealskinz, Traharn tells us her incredible story of perseverance and belief that she could escape the relationship she was in.
A few years later and Traharn now competes internationally in the elite category for Gravity Enduros and is an avid trail runner. Traveling the world, Traharn is constantly looking for new adventures in a constant search for happiness.
