Canadian artist Camille Allen creates adorable tiny baby sculptures that fit in the palm of a hand. It all began when Camille didn’t have enough clay for a big model, so she decided to challenge herself and made a little lifelike newborn. “When I held the first tiny baby sculpture in my hand I fell in love with it,” Allen said. “I love creating something that didn’t exist before. My favorite part is sculpting their little faces from basically a blank ball of clay.” Why babies? The artist feels like they remind us of how precious and fragile new life is.
