Look I Made A Book! It’s Called ‘the Extra-ordinary Mind Of Petula Primrose’
Hey Bored Pandas! I graduated with a degree in Illustration at the end of last year and for the last part of our final year, we were able to do a self motivated brief. This could be anything that we had a passion to create, from a poster series, to a campaign, to comic strips or a book etc. I decided to write and illustrate my own children’s book. The story is called The Extra-Ordinary mind of Petula Primrose and is based on the questioning and very insightful nature of children. Sometimes children have the ability to see the world around them with a lot more curiosity and depth than adults. Much of the story is based around real questions and statements that children have made such as, “It would be beautiful, inspiring and interesting if it started snowing in colours other than white.”- Peter 6. It is a story that makes one when question what is true around you, instead of just accepting things at face value- and some parts are read with a magnifying glass. I have created a Kickstarter Campaign to try and raise funds to publish it. Be a Curious Panda by helping me share my story to keep curiosity alive, by DONATING on my Kickstarter page (link provided). There are REWARDS (yay!?)

Read with magnifying glass:
‘So next when you see a disguise
don’t be so quick to close your eyes.
For what you are seeing is just the surface. Only removing the veil will
reveal a purpose. Yes coincidences happen all the time, but if you look close enough you’ll see the design.
In the end it is up to you-
here is the key if you know
what to do.’
