Irish Based Artist Creates Innovative Digital Art Technique Called Invarte
Artist pioneered her’s innovative approach InvARTe by inverting different part within the image using basic shape, text or complex shape which also inverted inside the main image.
The concepts are using minimalist mostly silhouette images dark solid color on the bright background or opposite creating interconnected, and interdependent contrary similar to Yin-Yang dualities. The idea of simplicity appears in many cultures, especially the Japanese traditional culture of Zen Philosophy. Aesthetic and designs are great elements to the creation.
She was influenced by Nōtan which a Japanese design concept is involving the play and placement of light and dark elements as they are placed next to the other in the composition of art and imagery.
The creations are mostly in a Pop Art movement focusing on images from popular culture, advertising, news but also including spiritual and ritual symbols as Mandala, I Ching Yin Yang etc.
