I’m Hibernating Through The Whole Winter Under My Giant Hand-Knitted Blankets
I hate winter. It’s the worst. And since I moved to Japan a couple of years back and discovered that houses here do not have central heating, I decided to combat the chill at the start of 2016 by making these super size chunky knit blankets.
I arm knit each blanket myself from 100% hypoallergenic merino wool, available in over 70 colours and 5 sizes, from Single to Queen and everything in between. I opened my own store, 10 Journeys on Etsy, at the end of January, and I’ve started making chunky scarves too, so you can stay cosy in style both in and outside the house. Super soft, airy and hypoallergenic… it’s what hibernation dreams are made of.
