For The Octopus Lovers! Art Inspired By Nature.

Hello all! I’m an artist out of Lockhart, TX, located just outside of Austin. I’ve been inspired by nature in so many ways. Surreal art made from colorful acrylics and mixed media fills my mind and soul. I have done a lot of tree art, but in the last few years I’ve been exploring creatures of the sea. These two octopus pieces are compatible but different in their construction. The Giant Pacific Octopus is made from torn paper and acrylics. It has three dimensional tentacles that bow off the canvas towards you, with vivid colors and textures. The Pacific Octopus is an acrylic painting. It is softer and fluid. I will be adding more octopus art to my website in the future.

She worked for many years as a mural artist specializing in children's bedrooms, and about eight years ago started painting from home. She works with acrylics, water color, ink and mixed media.
